This is great! I have been doing traditional Karate-do for about a year and we do lots of pushups but nothing to counter balance the muscles. I have been feeling aches and pains all over te upper thorax, shoulders and lots of problems with one of my shoulderblades.
Just one session of this exercise and I already feel better! Thank you!

Very helpful videos, thank you for posting them. Especially helpful for those with a risk of osteoporosis – a sneaky and silent disease that women peri- and post- menopause should be checked for. Again, good work and thank you!

When I do these exercises my arms will only extend back to about 85*. Is there a stretch I can do to improve the range of motion or will continuing the exercise improve the range of motion?

    9. postureconfidence says:

Not everyone can make it the full 90 degrees. Still better to focus on working that muscle for now even if you can’t go back all the way.

Thank you for posting this. Can we do this a number of times a day or should we only a set of ten once a day?

    11. postureconfidence says:

As long as you’re not getting sore or causing pain, it should be fine to do it more than once per day. I’d try to be consistent on a daily basis.

You can’t fix this by doing a lot all at once and then nothing for awhile. It’s more important to be consistent.

is it normal for guys to get this? because my neck spine sticks out my neck

    16. bigsquaw says:

thank you, I’ll try this. Let you know if it helps. My neck is down most of the day and it is beginning to really bother me, comfort wise. Nevermind the way it looks. I feel like a Bison.

Thank you for this tip! I have been searching all over to correct my rounded shoulders. My doctor called them “swimmers shoulders”, I was a kid and I thought that was a good thing (nods and sighs) Lately they have been feeling like they are going to dislocate. I had scoliosis as a child I should have that checked out to see how my back is. I have had bad posture all of my life and I consistently try not to slouch. It has effected my confidence and my vitality. Thanks once again.
