5 hours of tennis is a lot of work for your body to keep up with. The muscles and tendons in your shoulder can only take so much stress before they break down. Try giving it a rest for a few days, otherwise you nay run into an injury that will keep you out for weeks or longer.

It is especially if you do not play so much normally.
      Put cold to releive pain.

It is important to strech before and after playing

You probably did not warm up properly. And,it is better to rally for a while before you start serving…the shoulder takes a lot of strain when you serve, especially without good warm up.Also check your serving style…it has to be smooth and comfortable, with little or no jerk movements.Rest the shoulder,or see a doctor,to make such you do not have damaged tendons already.Good luck, tennis is a wonderful game.

yeah its fine. after 5hrs of tennis you will probably be a bit sore. I wouldn’t play for a couple of days to let it rest.

Yes it is normal, mainly if you were going back and forth to deuce in your serving games and you had to do extra serves, that happens to me too, in fact I feel it right now as I’ve played tennis 3 days in a row and I’ve had issues winning my serving games and had several deuce points going back and forth.
